DELIVERED FROM TROUBLE
Encouraging Words For Every Situation
Years ago, I woke up early one Saturday
morning and sat on the side of the bed
thinking, "What a great day this is going to
be!"
As I sat there staring out the window I
suddenly heard a word inside of me,
"Trouble." Nothing else, just
"Trouble."
I started talking out loud to myself,
"Trouble?
Who's in trouble? Am I in trouble, are my
kids in trouble, is my wife in
trouble?"
My wife woke up and said, "Who are you
talking to?"
"Myself," I said, " I believe the Lord just
spoke to me."
She said, "What did He say?"
I said, "I think He said, 'Trouble'."
She said, "Trouble! Who's in trouble? Are we in
trouble? Are the kids in trouble?"
I said, "I don't
know."
She said, "What am I supposed to do
with that kind of information?"
Needless to say it was an interesting
morning.
It took almost two and a half weeks,
but I looked up every scripture I could find
using the word "Trouble."
What a great Word study it was!
Sure enough, six months later
trouble showed up good measure and pressed
down in one day.
During a six hour
period in
my life great trouble descended on me, but I
thank God I remembered what He had shown me
earlier that year. I found the
scriptures I had looked up and
for about an hour began to read them over
and over.
Never had such a negative word
brought such a positive outcome!
Six hours later everything turned
around completely.
Thank God for His living Word!
